Role Description
We are looking for a Maintenance / Technical Engineer to join our team in Sofia on a full-time, on-site basis.
The role is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment and installations. The position plays a key role in maintaining high equipment availability through preventive and corrective maintenance, technical improvements, and continuous optimization of maintenance processes.
The engineer will actively participate in modernization projects, equipment installation and acceptance, and will support the implementation of advanced maintenance methodologies to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment (automotive experience is highly preferred)
• Experience with CNC machines is considered an advantage
• Experience working with CMMS maintenance management systems
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical power distribution
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics (EPLAN, AutoCAD)
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem solving
