For our client - a leading manufacturer of food products, we are looking for bright and curious young engineering graduates to begin their professional journey as:


MANUFACTURING TRAINEE



The Manufacturing Trainee will support manufacturing best practices through participation in continuous improvement of various processes. They will assist with control systems and their logic, improve material flow, and adhere to cycle times. The trainee will work towards achieving the organization's manufacturing goals and objectives, facilitating and supporting projects aimed at significant cost reduction through the implementation of various tools and methodologies.


The selected trainees will also use their academic knowledge to observe, support and help in manufacturing/engineering processes by following these principles:

• Actively support improvements and value analysis for cost reduction in engineering and manufacturing applications
• Assist in improving manufacturing processes
• Support ongoing engineering projects
• Participate in maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure increased efficiency and quality, and provide recommendations
• Develop teamwork abilities and focus on improving people management skills


Required Experience and Competencies:

• University degree or nearing graduation, in a technical/engineering field
• Strong organizational skills
• Fluent in English
• PC proficiency
