TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Main responsibilities related to technical support:
- Performs timely, accurate and remote email diagnostics of customer technical issues and assistance with our equipment setup;
- Conducts technical consultations with the company's customers (installers and distributors) to resolve problems and issues that have arisen, via email or other communication channel;
- Analyzes a technical problem in depth and guides the client for follow-up and interventions; seeks feedback on the effectiveness of the given proposals;
- Offers adequate, reliable and technically sound solutions;
- Responsible for customer satisfaction in terms of their level of technical information;
- Assists sales department and company employees in conducting technical training and product presentations;
- Provides technical consultations (system solutions) to customers for the company's products as needed;
- Prepares monthly report related to technical inquiries.
Auxiliary tasks related to technical support:
- Carries out daily correspondence with clients and provides assistance in technical issues; helps to the client with technical knowledge and information;
- Communicates with colleagues in sales, R&D, product and manufacturing on various technical issues;
- Assists in identifying potential customers for an alpha series test of a given product and obtaining their feedback;
- Transmits information to the appropriate department in case of registered technical issues and functionalities;
- Provides suggestions for improving existing company products and developing new ones based on customer input;
- Participates in updating information on existing product system solutions;
- Responsible for maintaining, submitting and updating technical information to the company’s customers.
Job Requirements: - Fluency in English - written and spoken is a must; second language will be a serious advantage; - Appropriate education and/or experience in the field of security and/or fire alarm systems will be a great advantage; - Experience working with customers and problem solving approach; - Good computer literacy - MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); - Responsibility and precision to the assigned tasks; - Responsibility and diligence when working with documents and files.
