SUNOTEC positions itself as an integrated solution provider, covering all services from geology, procurement, engineering and construction services to operations and maintenance and re-powering of plants with a large focus on BESS.
Expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for an Engineer, Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze operational data from PV installations and BESS to identify performance trends and drive efficiency improvements;
- Prepare regular technical and analytical reports;
- Monitor PV systems in real time via SCADA and other remote monitoring tools, identifying operational anomalies and underperformance;
- Detect technical deviations and participate in the root cause analysis and prioritization of corrective actions;
- Collaborate closely with field technicians, engineers, and other departments to support issue resolution and continuous performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Degree or current studies in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related technical field;
- Experience in the energy sector, preferably in PV operations, O&M, or technical analysis would be a plus;
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, platforms, and monitoring tools for renewable energy systems;
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; ability to recognize trends and anomalies;
- Good understanding of technical documentation, electrical diagrams, and performance metrics;
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
