What you’ll do?

  • Timely collect customer debts, including identification and follow-up of invoices which have not been settled by the due date

  • Active management of customer accounts through use of statements and close contact with the customer’s accounts payable department to ensure payments have been scheduled, and to identify invoices under query or dispute

  • Be the first point of contact for the customer on invoice related issues

  • Maintenance of customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation

  • Maintain overall perspective on the performance of the customer account (including information on payment history, peak balances, seasonal requirements, adherence to IM agreed terms etc) to identify trends, anomalies and potential future issues

  • Review of held orders to decide on appropriate course of action with minimum delay

  • Release orders

  • Review of credit lines to identify opportunities to maximise profitable sales

  • Manage positive and constructive customer relationships

  • Manage positive and constructive relationships with country teams involved with customers, ensuring open dialogue and good teamwork where issues or disputes arise

What you’ll bring?

  • Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3-year experience in functional area /
    High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience

  • Basic MS Excel skills

  • Good knowledge in English

  • Accuracy and a strong degree of urgency

  • Flexible Social skills

  • Ability to prioritize and perform work
