The Inventory Assistant will support the Industrial Engineering team by performing accurate inventory measurements to ensure correct data entry in SAP. The role involves recording measurements, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and assisting with inventory reconciliation to provide reliable data for the ERP system. This position offers practical exposure to industrial engineering, inventory management, and manufacturing operations. We offer a temporary contract with full-time (8-hour) as well as part-time (4 and 6-hour) options for students that let you balance your work and studies and gain hands-on experience.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Measure raw materials, and finished goods accurately in the warehouse.
- Record and maintain measurement data in Excel for validation and reporting purposes.
- Support the Industrial Engineering team in ensuring accurate SAP data entry using collected measurements.
- Assist with cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare basic reports to support inventory tracking and process improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety, quality, and operational standards in warehouse and production areas.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current student in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field is preffered
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, basic reporting).
- Willingness to learn SAP for supporting data entry.
- Basic understanding of inventory processes is a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and record-keeping.
- Fluency in English
