QA Intern
Your Role
You join Shelly for a paid internship lasting 3 to 6 months, depending on your availability, and learn how quality happens in a real hardware environment. You support manual and automated testing of our devices, work alongside experienced teammates, and build a strong foundation in QA for IoT products.
Your Responsibilities:
• You support manual testing of Shelly hardware devices.
• You assist with automated testing activities with guidance from the team.
• You prepare, follow, and update test cases and test checklists.
• You document bugs, odd behavior, and test results clearly and on time.
• You reproduce issues and help the team track them to resolution.
• You work closely with QA, firmware, and hardware colleagues to help keep product quality high.

What makes you a great fit:
• You are currently enrolled in a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, Quality Assurance, or another related field.
• You are interested in hardware and in how smart devices work.
• You are detail-oriented, curious, and patient when testing and checking for issues.
• You are comfortable learning both manual and automated testing.
• You have basic programming or scripting knowledge, which is a plus.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working with other people.
• You are eager to learn and ready to grow in a hands-on IoT environment.
